ABOUT MINI-MEGS
Our Mini-Megs division is for players born in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Developed with an emphasis on fun, participation, social interaction and self-discover, players will go through soccer movements assisting in motor development. They will be able to express themselves in a low-pressure environment, resulting in creative problem solving and plenty of fun! This program is supervised and taught by volunteers and high school players.
SESSION STRUCTURE
The Mini-Megs Program is a way for players to have fun and find their love of the sport. At this age, a player’s imagination can run wild, so we structure our sessions to be imaginative. Some of the activity and session topics are “Pirates,” “Cars,” or “Jungle Animals.” Each week players will use their imagination to transform into the week’s session topic. For example, “Pirates” will steer their pirate ship (dribble their soccer ball) along one of the seven seas (soccer field). Coaches and volunteers make each session as fun and energetic as possible, so each player goes home with the best soccer experience.
