Experience

My first experience with  Fremont YSC was with 96 Boys Black, under Dai Redwoods coaching. As a player I would always observe the drills/activities that were presented. My first experience of coaching was in 2012, where I would assist with the U6 program at Fremont. Even though it was only for a short period of time, it exposed me to youth soccer from the coaches perspective, and helped me to learn the basics of coaching younger kids. I am continually developing as a coach and looking in what ways one can make the soccer experience more memorable for the kids.

Additional Information

I am always looking for areas in which I can improve as a coach and a person. The love of soccer and the importance of helping others are responsible for my inspiration as a coach. Soccer has always been my passion, I have always been amazed at the beauty of soccer and how many disciplines (11v11, indoor, beach, freestyle) one can go about in playing it. One of my aspirations is to share and transmit that immense passion for soccer to the kids. My role as a coach is not only to teach but also to help the youth to find their way, to be an example and a person who they can look up to and trust.
