Experience
Started coaching youth soccer at the age of 19, for a Varsity Middle School boys team in Almaden CA, then became involved as a coach for a club in Campbell CA. Throughout my early stages of my coaching career, I was also involved with multiple after-school programs and camps. I became involved with Fremont in 2013. With Fremont Youth Soccer Club, I have developed as a coach and a Director of multiple programs, while also learning to manage off the field work, that most coaches simply push to the side, or overlook.
In 2019 I travelled to Europe and experienced the day to day operations of some of Europe's biggest youth academies, and gained insight into the club operations at the elite level.
Additional Information
I believe that player development should be the main focus in youth soccer. Players who can run at defenders and take them on, makes the game exciting and fun. Players who take risks during training and games are the players who are developing and having the most fun. “Joga Bonito” (Play Beautifully), play with flair and creativity.
